“Taking Care of Business” Webinar

The United Methodist Foundation hosted a webinar with Phyllis McLaurin, author of “Taking Care of Business: A Roadmap for Those Who Will Some Day Take Care of You,” on Nov. 10.

McLaurin’s book of the same name serves as a guide for documenting and sharing information concerning our personal lives, when we are no longer able to care for ourselves. In the webinar, McLaurin and Foundation President Chris Spencer sat down to discuss the book and how to plan for the future.

 McLaurin is a retired financial advisor and market manager who spent 42 years in banking. She has guided many clients over the years, helping them address and manage their assets and financial future. She is a member of First United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge.
