What is Our Responsibility in Elections?

By Patricia Lotich, smartchurchmanagment.com

I don’t know about you, but I am already weary of the bombardment of political ads, fear-mongering, and rhetoric about the upcoming election.

This is about enough to discourage anyone.

The good news is we serve a God who (despite what our eyes see) has everything under control, so all we have to do is trust Him and His Word.

I saw a great teaching (Twin Rivers Church) on our Christian responsibilities in an election.

We can’t remove God from government because He was the first to establish governments.

The question we need to ask is, what does God say?

I pray that these Bible verses will encourage you and help you navigate this challenging election season.
