Scholarships
The United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana is proud to partner with various ministries, organizations and donors to provide scholarships for seminary, undergraduate school and children’s camp.
Foundation Scholarships in Partnership with Board of Ordained Ministry
The Foundation offers scholarships for ordained or licensed ministry or undergraduate studies for those seeking to work full-time or part-time in ministry.
The Board of Ordained Ministry reviews and approves applicants for these scholarships which range from $1,000-$2,500 annually.
UM Higher Education Foundation/Dollars for Scholars
Matching support from a student’s church, UMHEF, participating schools and UMC conference foundations for United Methodist undergraduate students.
Applicants can earn a double, triple or even quadruple match.
Strozier Family Camp Scholarship
Provided by a generous donor, this scholarship is available to youth with financial constraints, who wish to enroll in a participating United Methodist camp in Louisiana. Have your pastor or youth minister call the Foundation for details.
