Meet the Presenter:

Dianne Wilkinson, a native of Shreveport, La., has served on staff at Trinity UMC in Ruston for 25 years in multiple capacities, including Church Business Administrator. She also served at Benton UMC for several years until her retirement in 2013. She completed the National Certification Program in Church Finance and Administration at Candler School of Theology and is recognized as a Certified Business Administrator by The General Council on Finance and Administration of the UMC. She also has served on the Executive Committee of the United Methodist Association of Church Business Administrators, as Vice President and President. She earns her recertification every year by attending continuing education events and currently handles the bookkeeping at NorthPoint UMC and Christ UMC in Shreveport.

 Anyone who works in a church business office understands the unique challenges that come with managing and reporting the church’s finances. There is a true need for help, especially among the smaller churches, with managing the daily routines, internal controls, systems and process in the church business office.
